More than half a million people working in UK pubs and clubs risk permanent hearing loss due to extended opening times. According to the Royal National Institute for Deaf people (RNID) and the TUC, club, bar and pub employers should be doing more to safeguard employeesâ hearing.

Conventional hearing aids and digital hearing aids are both very good products on the market in this day and age, just depends on what's right for you. When someone starts wearing them for the first time it seems that the sound of their own voice is too loud; it can take a few weeks to adjust to the new device.
